Are you a sports fanatic or a sports fanatic?

 

I'm here to ask you a really good question, are you a sports fan or a sports fan? I looked up both definitions and the dictionary says that for a fan the meaning is "an enthusiastic devotee or follower of a sport or sports team" the meaning of a fan is "a person with extreme enthusiasm or zeal for the sport or sports team". The difference ESPORTS and a sports fanatic is a fine line. I consider myself a fan, and I will give you my opinion on the fine line that separates a fan from a fan.

A sports fan will have a favorite team that they will follow when they have time. The fan will know some facts or history about their favorite team. The fan will try to go see their favorite team when they have some free time and it fits into their schedule.

A sports fan eats, sleeps and breathes everything related to sports. A sports fan will know every historical fact or detail of each sport. They know every rule, every player on a team, and every detail that has to do with that team or sport. A fan will go out of his way to go to each game of his favorite team, and if he cannot make it to the game, he will have a handheld device or smartphone that can access the latest news or updates on the game.

The biggest necessity for a non-game sports fan is a huge, disgusting, movie-sized flat-screen TV that takes up half your living room. It should have stereo speakers with surround sound, so it sounds exactly like sitting in a sports stadium. The living room furniture should consist of a large comfortable sofa, with a pair of recliners and footrests. There should be enough space for the fan to invite all their friends to the "big" game.

The last necessity for a sports fanatic is food. There should be plenty of food to make you feel like you are in your own kitchen. There should be plenty of French fries, dips, tortilla chips, pizza, hamburgers, and hot dogs, and much more available for the game. The most important thing is the drinks, which consist of a case of beer that fits in the refrigerator or they have their own small personal refrigerator in which the beers and other drinks will be stored.

Sports fans will also have a lot more sports gear and memories than a sports fan. A sports fanatic needs all the sports memorabilia of her favorite sports teams, from the sports team jersey to a little sports team spoon. The fans are also probably the ones who dress in hideous sports gear and have their faces painted in stadiums.
