Over the years, there have been many soccer players who have inspired, motivated and been a pleasure to watch. The top 5 that I have considered for the best players of all time are the following:
1. Pele - Most people will give Pele first place, and in my opinion, this is so. Born into poverty and learning to play on the streets of Brazil, he trained hard to be the best there is and his exhibits on the field were far from ดารา ลิซ่า. At just 16 years old he made his debut in the Brazilian league and was later awarded a spot on the 1958 World Cup team in Brazil, where they eventually lifted the trophy.
2. Maradona - who was born in Argentina and became known in his spell during Boca, was famous for that famous "Mano de Dios" goal that knocked out England in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals.
3. Cruyff - He was one of the most talented players of his generation and of all time, he was an excellent dribbler of the ball and a three-time world footballer of the year. Not only that, but he developed a style of soccer known as Total Soccer in which the players moved around the field swapping their positions frequently.
4. Beckenbauer: He had a tactical mind and was known for his technique that influenced the game and his teams. It's unusual for a defender to be in the top 5, but Beckenbauer's game and sense of play place him above the majority in the world.
5. George Best - A phenomenon for the world of soccer and a player who dazzled, danced and finished at a world class level. His vision, dribbling skills and fast pace could take him past a number of the world's best defenders and leave them in his wake.
