It's Premier League match time at Craven Cottage in match week 19, when Fulham host West Ham on 26 December.
When their match against Liverpool was postponed in match week 18, Fulham's last match was a 0-0 stalemate เลื่อนแข่งพรีเมียร์ the previous week. Fulham's problem this season has been a draw of a draw. The draw against Sunderland was the Cottages' 10th stalemate in 17 games played, a feat that has seen them crash down to 17th position in the table at the edge of the relegation mine.
And although Fulham had better exchanges against Steve Bruce's men, their missed chances hurt them with Dempsey leading the way as his shot for eight minutes found Mignolet between Sunderland's posts equivalent to the task of saving the goal. Likewise, a 55-minute pass from Salcido could have put Cottagers ahead if only Dempsey had managed to reach it.
A new chance went into begging as Bardsley stopped Etuhus' header from entering the Sunderland net. A corner kick from Hangeland in the 68th minute was another miss of the opportunity as neither Gera nor Dempsey took advantage of the empty spot.
The draw was all the more regrettable given that the black cats were off-color on the day and had a shot at the Fulham goal on both sides of the range.
West Ham draw 1-1 against Blackburn. And Grant will be happy with the result after Junior Stanislas took an equalizer with 12 minutes left after the Ewood Park team went up 1-0 in 51 minutes.
The match was dull before the break, but the Hammers put up a better show after the interval. Cole and Stanislas, who both came in as substitutes, made the biggest impact, and the result was to earn the beleaguered Grant, rumored to be on the verge of expulsion from the helm, a few more games. West Ham are at the foot of the table and they will have to show a lot of character from here if they want to avert relegation, this season.
Fulham have been hard to beat at home this season, losing just two out of nine hosts. That said, they just won two of those games at Craven Cottage while drawing five. West Ham have yet to win on the pitch, drawing three and losing five out of eight away games.
West Ham lead 8-2 in the last 15 league games between the sides. The last game between the sides was hosted by Hammers in October, a game that ended in a 1-1 stalemate. But in its current form, the story is meaningless and West Ham's lack of a powerful attack will be a stumbling block against arguably the most defensive team this season at Fulham.
Fulham's starting eleven against Sunderland consisted of Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Salcido, Davies, Murphy, Etuhu, Dempsey, Gera and Kamara. Baird and the two Johnsons, Eddie and Andy, were temps.
West Ham had the following men in their starting eleven against Blackburn: Boffin, Ben-Haim, Tomkins, Upson, Gabbidon, Barrera, Parker, Dyer, Spector, Piquionne and Boa Morte. Stanislas, McCarthy and Cole were used as replacements.
