Asus UX30 - Laptop Review

Asus is proud to present its sleek range of ultra-thin notebooks that are great on features and functions. Thus, it came up with the Asus UX30, one of the latest models introduced by Asus. The UX30 is also known as the mother of mini-netbooks due to the innovation in the EEE PC series.

There are two models in the UX series of laptops: UX50V and UX30. The latter is smaller with a thickness of only 0.9 inches, making it easily one of the thinnest notebooks on the market. It is convenient for travel and is very asus d5 รุ่นล่าสุด, the normal computer user and the writer. And the UX30 is also very light, similar to its size. One can carry it and is not expected to have a laptop.

The Asus UX30 uses Intel's Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) processors. This may be why the UX30 is almost thin and is loaded with more than acceptable features. CULV processors are designed to consume as little energy as possible, emitting less heat. Since CULV processors need a little energy, the thin design of the Asus UX30 was made possible. Previous processors need space to allow heat and air to circulate without damaging the internal components.

In terms of performance, the Asus UX30 has either the Intel® Core (TM) 2 Duo processor SU9400 or the Core (TM) Solo processor SU3500. Both of these processors run at 1.4 GHz. Each of these processors is supported by up to 4 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM). This type of power surpasses the need to enable and address the Asus UX30 to perform multiple functions without hanging up or delaying.

The screen from Asus' latest offering has an acceptable 1366x768 resolution integrated in a 13-inch liquid crystal display, which can facilitate faster and better multi-tasking. With a large resolution, a user can simply open a document window while placing it next to a window in another document for reference. A user can also choose to integrate a media player window.

Specifications:

CPU:

Intel® Core (TM) 2 Duo Processor SU9400: 1.4 GHz

Intel® Core (TM) Solo Processor SU3500: 1.4 GHz

RAM: DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM, 1 x SODIMM connector for expansion up to 4 GB SDRAM

Screen size: 13.3 "WXGA / resolution 1366x768, Color-Shine (glare type)

Operating system:

Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium

Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic

Battery life: Polymer 3 cells: 3250 mAh

Graphics: Integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

Advantage:

The slimness and lightness of the Asus UX30 are the main advantages of the Asus UX30. And the clear resolution of the LCD screen enables skilled multitasking, which is necessary in the busy world. This is important for writers and editors who are looking to finish editing or writing documents in a tight time frame.

Disadvantages:

However, gamers can expect to be disappointed with the Asus UX30 as its graphics card is not designed for the latest hard-core game. Still, these players can always insist on playing older games that use less power and graphical resolution.

Conclusion:

The Asus UX30 is basically designed to meet the simple needs of the businessman or the average computer user, both of whom are looking for a reliable machine to perform average and business processes with.

The only drawback is the lack of power to process multimedia applications and 3D-based games. However, it is still loaded on features and one can not regret the price he or she pays for Asus UX30 depending on the applications one needs or wants.
