Introduction and history

Arsenal Football Club, a professional English football club located in Holloway, North London, is considered to be one of the most successful clubs in the history of English football. They have won thirteen First Division and Premier League titles, including ten FA Cup titles.

Arsenal is the first southern club, founded in 1886, to join the Football League. His first great success was proven in the 1930s by winning 2 FA championship titles and 5 league titles. David O'Leary holds the record for the most appearances made by any Arsenal player with 722 first-team appearances from 1975 to 1993.

David Seaman, one of the best goalkeepers, has a record of having appeared in 563 games, the most by a goalkeeper ever to represent Arsenal. Thierry Henry, with 226 goals between 1999 and 2007, holds the record for the most goals scored by any Arsenal player.
